Midterm Elections

2026 U.S. Senate & House of Representatives Elections

The midterms are only 169 days away, and we have the opportunity to send a new representative to Congress from Southwest Virginia, provide a check on the actions of the administration, and keep a Democrat representing Virginia in the Senate.

We have three declared Democratic candidates for the 9th Congressional District, Adam Murphy, Douglas Crockett, & Joy Powers.  You can find out more information about them below, and we’ll share events from each campaign. It is fantastic that we have three great candidates.

The primary election date is only 77 days away on Tuesday, August 4th with early voting opening on June 18th (Only 30 Days Away).

Senator Mark Warner is also up for re-election as the Democratic nominee. Find more about his campaign and how to get involved below.
